One of my favorite things about Washington DC is that it really is a melting pot of the world. Driving down Mass Ave on one side of the street there is the Australian Embassy and on the other the Uzbekistan Embassy (I didn’t even know there was a place called Uzbekistan…I already see Will Lambert rolling his eyes about my lack of knowledge when it comes to Geography.)
(One of) The great part about having all of these countries represented in one area??? THE FOOD! My palate is more cultured than ever which is why I’m super excited about this Thursday! The Embassy Chef Challenge is taking place at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. I get to introduce my taste buds to some new and interesting flavors while hanging out with the Who’s Who in the foodie world! CARLA FROM TOP CHEF AND THE CHEW WILL BE THERE! I love her.
If you haven’t purchased your tickets yet, GET ON IT! The event sold out last year!
