My Cure For A No Good Very Bad Day

I’ve been going through some shit lately. Normally like to sugarcoat it or add some asterisks to make it seem a little more light hearted. Not this time… Just can’t. I’ve been going through some shit. With that being said, I’ve been smiling, keeping it moving, and searching for dandelions and couches to remind me that everything is going to be ok (the story of the couch and the shit I’ve been going through blogs will be coming soon…stay tuned)

Yesterday I managed to turn my No Good Very Bad mood into a bearable…even pleasant day. How?

* Cadbury Mini Eggs! I know thy are seasonal, but I stock up on extra bags and freeze them so I can enjoy them all year… Or until September when they run out.

* Bathtime…complete with bath salts and an episode of How I Met Your Mother on my IPad. Oh Barney, how I love you!

* A Few Moments With Dr. Seuss! I picked up my favorite book, Oh The Places You Will Go. I may or may not have read The Waiting Place part a few times.

* Andy Grammer’s CD

* & a Dorito Taco from Taco Bell.

I know I know…emotional feeding time is NOT the right answer BUT you know what…it’s better than getting an oversized wine glass and filling it up or drinking straight out of the bottle…right? OK let’s be honest, I’m reserving that for my bff’, Allison’s, return from a work trip…don’t want to do that one solo.

Don’t worry. I’ll be ok. AND I know there are people that have it WAY worse than I do. I’m just going through some things.  While mini eggs and Dr. Seuss aren’t the answer, they do make it a little easier to get through the day.

Well let's see, Don't think I could live without Bacon, BritneySpears, Hair Extensions, Hallmark,& Ketchup. OH & wine. So I usually post about those things
