New Year-New Diet

This Paleo diet and 40 Day Challenge at Iron Tribe Fitness (Mount Pleasant) got me preppin, making my own condiments, and jam!

Paleo

Yes the loaf of bread cost $14 (on sale for $10 at Whole Foods right now) and in all I spent about $200 to DIY sauces and it would have cost about $35 to buy the normal products ALL IN PEOPLE ALL IN!

I found some really amazing recipes on PaleoLeap.com. The ketchup (while it doesn’t taste anything like Heinz or Hunts) is a really good dipping sauce, my relish is fermenting so I’m not sure how that is going to turn out, and the jam is to die for! I don’t think I’ll be buying Smuckers anymore. I don’t eat a lot of jam but from now on, when I do, it will be homemade!

And it reminds me of my favorite cheesy radio line “Don’t touch that dial it’s got JAMMMMMMMMM all over it”

SIDENOTE- If you are doing a Paleo Diet, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT, buy the paleo bread. IT IS AWFUL! I’d rather be bread free than spend 14 cents let alone $14 on that bread.
