It’s been a while! But I’m back for a very important reason…I want to share the good word on my new fitness journey.
You’ve seen the meme’s, “Yea I’m into Fitness…FITNESS WHOLE PIZZA IN MY MOUTH”.
I’d like to introduce you to THE PIZZA DIET
Listen to the podcast for the full story, but basically I started The Pizza Diet last week as a way to establish portion control without depriving myself of food that I love. In the past I would make these “healthy” meals but over eat OR limit myself and then after a few glasses of wine discover a knock at the door from the 3 pizzas I ordered because “I had been so good all week”.
I’m very happy to report in ONE WEEK I have lost 2.7 lbs. I’m not eating super cheesy, stuffed crust, extra meat pizza with a side of breadsticks. Although that does sound delicious…it’s not conducive for losing weight.
Instead it has been Lean Cuisine, Caulipower, Pizza Lunchables (not healthy but nostalgic and low cal), English Muffin pizza, and even a Home Made Cauliflower Stir Fry Pizza. You have to get creative because marinara and mozz gets a little redundant after a week of at least 2 pizzas a day.
I will continue The Pizza Diet until the weight stops coming off.
