I’d much rather eat a Big Mac while lying in bed watching bad TV. I wish I could be chubby and happy but…I can’t. So when I get to a certain weight/size/shape, I put on my sports bra and get it together.
I’ve come to the conclusion I will always have a 15 pound battle. When I’m at my goal weight (and it’s not even that teeny tiny…I’m talking size 6, 135lbs) I’m as happy as they come! I continue the “healthy” lifestyle for a while, and then life happens. So I eat…and drink…and tell myself I DESERVE it! French fries…and burritos…and guacamole…and beer. I do, but there are consequences. I’m suffering from those consequences right now. I’m at the not so happy end of the 15 pound battle. Yep size 8/10 and 150 pounds *I just threw up a little bit in my mouth*
Instead of just bitching about it…today I did something about it. I got up at 8:15 am and instead of hitting snooze I started my Couch to 5K app. I downloaded this app about a year ago when I did my first 5K (haven’t touched it since).
I’m not going to lie…it was rough, but the cool down was worth it!
When I got back from my jog I ate an egg white omelette and 1/4 of a bagel. For lunch I juiced and had some protein pudding that Drita from Mob Wives is endorsing *I’m such a sucker for celebrity endorsed products*
Day 1 is a success and even though I don’t enjoy it (any of it) I know I will enjoy the results. Let’s hope I keep it up!
